Natural stone cladding for interiors and furniture

To create evocative atmospheres, using natural stone cladding for interiors is essential—but it’s not enough. The details, material combinations, and the ability to make the most of the color and texture properties of the material are key. As proof of this, we present our vision of a “luxury interior” through a project created for a private client in northern Italy. Highlighting the synergy between the choice of materials, design work, and execution by Venetian Gold.

Marble as the thread that ties the living space together

To create a harmonious connection between the luxury living area and the kitchen, we played with various chromatic nuances of Calacatta marble, one of the most precious and sought-after Italian marbles, extracted from the Carrara quarries. With a crystalline white base, Calacatta features veins in different colors, ranging from the golden yellow of Calacatta Oro and the mint green of Calacatta Caldia to the ivory beige of Calacatta Cremo. For our luxury interior, we designed the kitchen countertop in Calacatta Crema to complement the beige color of the wooden floor that covers the dining and living areas. The cream color also ties in with the fireplace elements, brought to life by the golden-yellow veins of Calacatta Gold.

A master bathroom crafted to perfection.

Once considered merely a service room, the bathroom has now transformed into an exclusive space dedicated to relax, beauty, and self-care. For the luxury master bathroom in our project, we chose a very special and captivating material for its delicate chromatic dynamism: Honey Onyx. It was used for the countertop where the sinks are placed, the mirror wall, and the border around the floor, contrasting with the dark parquet color. The color of Honey Onyx serves two important functions: the first is to evoke a sense of peace and relaxation in the space with its soft, enveloping tones, while the second is to maintain a visual connection with the rest of the house, enhancing the overall emotion of harmony and balance. Crafted by our skilled artisans, the guest bathroom was adorned with the beautiful Calacatta Caldia marble, featuring mint green veins on a delicate crystal white background.

A meticulous craft for the guest bathroom.

To highlight this material and give the interior a true “luxury” feel, the bathroom decorations and countertop were crafted in Verde Guatemala marble. This marble, widely used in interiors for its bold and intense color, accentuates the veins of Caldia, creating fascinating light effects. The challenges this project presented are particularly evident in the intricate marble inlays, which required the highest level of skill and numerous hand-crafted processes, including the meticulous installation, ensuring a unique and exclusive result.
