Sahara Noir is a Tunisian marble of extraordinary elegance, perfect for adding a touch of unique sophistication to living spaces. Extracted from the hills of Zaghouan in northeastern Tunisia, this marble has gained increasing appreciation in the design world due to its beauty and versatility.

Composed of fossilized oil, Sahara Noir features a dark background that makes it instantly recognizable. The white and golden veins, created by silicon and oxidized metal, form sharp, perpendicular lines, almost reminiscent of a Mondrian painting, with its graphic and refined contrast.

Created for a private client, the project in which Venetian Gold participated involved the creation of a Sahara Noir countertop for a long living room piece of furniture, designed for a loft in Treviso. The material was selected to enhance the modern and sophisticated design of the space, adding a touch of class to a residential setting with a contemporary style.
