Yellow Bamboo is a scenic natural granite mined in the mining basins of Brazil. It is celebrated in interior design and contemporary architecture for its unique graphic motif, reminiscent of the reeds and stems of the bamboo plant.
Visually, it has a sunny, warm background in shades of golden yellow, honey and ochre, crossed by marked sub-parallel streaks and veins in shades of olive green, brown, burgundy and grey. The strictly directional pattern of its mineral bands gives the slabs a fluid, organic and highly decorative aesthetic.
Geologically it is a high density silicate matrix metamorphic igneous rock (gneiss/migmatite). It has a high surface hardness, very low porosity and is completely unassailable by food acids (such as lemon, vinegar and wine). It guarantees exceptional resistance to scratches, trampling abrasion, direct heat, frost and UV rays, preserving the shine unchanged over time.
– countertops and vanity tops: its absolute acid resistance and thermal resistance make it an excellent and visually striking choice for kitchen tops and bathroom countertops.
– interior flooring and cladding: ideal for accent walls (highly appreciated with an “outdoor stain” installation to enhance the grain design), lobbies and continuous floors.
– exterior architecture: suitable for facade cladding, porticoes and terraces thanks to its total unalterability to atmospheric agents.
– custom elements: used for reception counters, bar tops, stairways, thresholds and windowsills.
