Juparanà Arandis is a spectacular and renowned natural granite quarried in Brazil’s vast mining basins, primarily in the state of Espírito Santo. It belongs to the famous and extensive Juparanà granite family, known throughout the world for the unmistakable wavy pattern of its minerals. Visually, it features a warm and dynamic background in shades of cream, beige and pale pink, furrowed by broad and energetic wave-like veins in shades of grey, Havana, hazelnut and black. Its characteristic veined structure gives each slab a fluid, unique and highly scenographic movement. Its silicate matrix gives it a high hardness, making it unassailable by food acids and highly resistant to scratches, wear and heat. This perfect synthesis between versatility and resistance makes it the ideal choice for creating high-quality kitchen tops, elegant flooring, dramatic accent walls and prestigious outdoor cladding.
Geologically it is a high density silicate matrix metamorphic igneous rock (gneiss/granite). It boasts a high surface hardness, very low porosity and is completely unassailable by food acids such as lemon, vinegar and wine. It provides exceptional resistance to scratches, abrasion, heavy tread wear, direct heat, frost and UV rays, maintaining its shine unchanged over time.
– countertops and vanity tops: their absolute acid resistance and heat resistance make them an excellent material for everyday kitchen tops and bathroom countertops.
– interior flooring and siding: perfect for wide-ranging continuous flooring, dramatic accent walls, state lobbies, and hallways.
– exterior architecture: ideal for cladding ventilated facades, terraces, walkways and poolside areas thanks to its total unalterability to the elements.
– custom architectural elements: used for the construction of stairways, reception desks, portals, thresholds and windowsills.
