Napoleon Yellow is one of the most iconic and historically renowned golden granites, mined in Brazil’s renowned quarries. Appreciated in architecture and interior design for its strong chromatic personality, it is a natural stone capable of giving great warmth and visual prestige to any space.
Visually, it features a sunny and energetic background that ranges from yellow ochre to golden beige and amber, enriched by a dynamic and varied movement of spots, soft shades and specks in shades of chocolate brown, quartz grey, hazelnut and black. The presence of quartz crystals and feldspars gives the surface an intense three-dimensionality and a natural brilliance under light.
Geologically, it is an intrusive igneous rock with a granitic composition, formed by the slow cooling of magmas at high depths. Its silicate matrix makes it chemically inert and completely unassailable by food acids (such as vinegar, lemon and wine). It has almost no porosity, minimal water absorption and very high resistance to abrasion, intense trampling, frost and UV rays, ensuring exceptional and unalterable performance both indoors and in demanding outdoor contexts.
