Calacatta Viola, historically known as Breccia Medicea, is an Apuan marble of theatrical beauty, extracted from the prestigious quarries of Carrara. It stands out for its ivory white background “cracked” by spectacular veins ranging from plum purple to deep burgundy, creating an unparalleled visual dynamism. This stone does not follow linear textures, but explodes into dark spots and arabesques that generate a brecciated effect of incredible expressive force.
