Amarone is a spectacular natural granite quarried mainly in Brazil. It takes its name from the famous and prized Italian wine, whose intense, enveloping and sophisticated tones it recalls. It is highly sought after in interior design and contemporary architecture for its dramatic aesthetic rendering and extraordinary mechanical performance.
Visually, it has a dense chromatic background in deep ruby red, garnet and burgundy tones, crossed by veined movements and mineral intrusions in shades of smoky grey, black, transparent quartz and golden reflections. The combination of its crystals gives the surface a fluid dynamism and exceptional visual depth.
Geologically it is an intrusive magmatic rock (siliceous matrix granite/gneiss). As a silicate, it is a totally acid-resistant material and is NOT sensitive to food and chemical acids (such as lemon, vinegar, wine or harsh detergents). It offers a very high surface hardness, exceptional resistance to abrasion, scratches and thermal shock, combined with almost zero porosity. It keeps the brilliance of its finishes unchanged over time, making it perfect for mirror polishing, sanding or brushing (leather touch effect).

– high-trampling flooring and siding: an excellent choice for indoor and outdoor floors exposed to heavy trampling or severe weathering.
