Technical characteristics of the Zeta Brown

Geologically, it is an intrusive magmatic rock with a compact crystalline structure, consisting of a dense lattice of quartz and potassium feldspars.

It has a very high surface hardness, which offers extraordinary resistance to scratches, nicks, impacts and wear from continuous trampling. Its internal porosity is almost zero, ensuring an exceptionally low water absorption value and an effective natural barrier against the penetration of liquids, oils or staining substances. Since it is a material with an entirely silicate composition, it enjoys total chemical inertness: it remains completely immune to the attack of acidic substances (vinegar, lemon, wine, detergents) without risking opacification or streaks. It also resists temperature changes, frost and UV rays perfectly, retaining its golden shine both inside and out.

Applications in design

– kitchen tops and countertops: chosen for kitchen tops, islands and counters thanks to its absolute practicality, total resistance to food acids, scratches and heat.

– high-traffic flooring: Regular grit and high mechanical strength make it ideal for covering large square meters in shopping malls, public offices, stations, and hotel lobbies.

– external cladding and ventilated facades: widely used in architecture for the external envelope of large buildings, where it guarantees durability and color stability that cannot be altered over time.

– stairs and outdoor finishes: perfect for making steps, windowsills, covers and street furniture (in a polished, polished, flamed or bush-hammered finish).
