Violetta - brown granite of natural origin

Technical characteristics of Violetta

Geologically, it is an intrusive magmatic rock with a compact crystalline structure, consisting of a dense lattice of quartz and potassium feldspars.

It has a very high surface hardness, which offers extraordinary resistance to scratches, nicks, impacts and wear from continuous trampling. Its internal porosity is almost zero, ensuring an exceptionally low water absorption value and an effective natural barrier against the penetration of liquids, oils or staining substances. Since it is a material with an entirely silicate composition, it enjoys total chemical inertness: it remains completely immune to the attack of acidic substances (vinegar, lemon, wine, detergents) without risking opacification or streaks. It also resists temperature changes, frost and UV rays perfectly, retaining its golden shine both inside and out.

Applications in design

– designer kitchen tops and islands: much loved for dramatic kitchen tops, where the violet hue and total resistance to stains, acids, and heat create a perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality.

– accent and open plan walls: used for large-plate vertical cladding (often with open spot / book-match work), capable of embellishing hotel living and reception areas.

– internal and external flooring: its high resistance to heavy trampling and weathering makes it suitable for flooring high-traffic residential or commercial environments.

– luxury bathrooms and vanity tops: chosen for shower walls and vanity tops where the tonal notes of brown and plum lend an elegant and relaxing atmosphere.
