The Imperial Brown (also known in the international market as Café Imperial) is a renowned and solid authentic granite of natural origin extracted mainly in the rich stone basins of Brazil, highly appreciated in contemporary architecture and interior design for its understated elegance and exceptional durability.
Visually, it is distinguished by an exceptionally compact, deep and uniform color background, dominated by the warm shades of coffee brown, dark chocolate and brown. Its texture is characterized by a dense, regular grain size of small feldspathic and quartz crystals that reflect light discreetly, giving the surface a refined three-dimensionality and a rigorous, solid, and timeless appearance.
Geologically, it is an intrusive magmatic rock with structural and mechanical properties of the highest level. Its predominantly silatic composition gives it extreme hardness, placing it at the vertices for resistance to scratches, heavy-duty abrasions and accidental impacts. Thanks to virtually zero natural porosity, it boasts a very low absorption coefficient, making it highly waterproof and stain-refractory. Being chemically inert, it does not undergo any clouding upon contact with common food acids (such as vinegar or lemon) and resists thermal shock, extreme frost and UV rays beautifully.

– kitchen tops and countertops: it is one of the applications of choice thanks to its total hygiene, ease of cleaning and absolute resistance to heat from pots and stains.
