Labrador Black - Black granite from Norway

Labrador Black – Black granite from Norway

Labrador Black Granite is a natural stone of the highest value, quarried in the Nordic regions of Norway. It is famous worldwide for its deep, uniform black background, which serves as an elegant, minimalist canvas for contemporary architecture.

Its uniqueness lies in the myriad of iridescent blue and silver crystals that enrich it. These mineral inclusions, known as labradorite, create a fascinating iridescent optical effect that is activated by light. This spectacular phenomenon gives granite a unique, majestic and dynamic look, making each slab visually “alive”.

The Labrador Black is a timeless classic of Nordic luxury, sought after by architects and designers for its ability to combine a dark, solid color base with an unexpected ethereal glow. It is the ideal material for top kitchens, floors and prestige upholstery, where the combination of strength and iridescence creates an atmosphere of sophisticated modernity.
