Juparanà Santa Cecilia (also known simply as Santa Cecilia) is one of the most famous, appreciated, and historic natural golden granites in the world, mined in the vast mining basins of Brazil (in the state of Espírito Santo). Although it often has a more granular and dotted structure than the classic pushed-wave movement of the Juparanà family, it shares its warm chromatic matrix and great versatility.
Visually, it is characterized by a sunny and enveloping background in shades of golden yellow, cream and honey, finely enriched with micas, inserts and specks in shades of brown, grey, ochre and burgundy. The homogeneous yet dynamic distribution of its minerals gives surfaces a warm, bright and extremely elegant appearance.
Geologically it is a high density silicate matrix metamorphic igneous rock (gneiss/granite). It has a high surface hardness, very low porosity and is completely unassailable by food acids such as lemon, vinegar and wine. Ensures exceptional resistance to scratches, trampling abrasion, direct heat, frost and UV rays, maintaining the shine unchanged over time.
– countertops and vanity tops: its absolute acid-free properties and high-temperature resistance make it a great classic for everyday kitchen tops and bathroom countertops.
– interior flooring and siding: perfect for continuous flooring, lobbies, salons, and vertical accent walls that require warm, bright tones.
– exterior architecture: ideal for facade cladding, porticoes, terraces and walkways thanks to its total resistance to atmospheric agents.
– custom elements: used for the construction of stairways, thresholds, windowsills and reception desks.
