Solarium is an exotic, warm, and majestic natural granite/pegmatite mined in the renowned mining basins of the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. It is a stone highly appreciated in high-end interior and exterior design for the extraordinary liveliness of its golden tones and the intrinsic robustness of its siliceous matrix.
Visually, it is distinguished by a warm and sunny background in shades of golden yellow, honey, ochre and amber, crossed by fluid and imposing veins or clouds in shades of cream, hazel brown, rust and quartz grey. The presence of large feldspar and quartz crystals gives the surfaces an extraordinary natural dynamism, ideal for dramatic impact work.
Geologically it is an intrusive magmatic rock (granite/silicate). Being a predominantly siliceous matrix material, it is an acid-fast material and is NOT sensitive to food and chemical acids (such as lemon, vinegar, wine, or household cleaners). It boasts high surface hardness, strong resistance to mechanical abrasion, scratches and thermal overhang. It responds excellently to mirror polishing, as well as to woven processes such as brushing (leather effect) or flaming for external use.

– exterior architecture: ideal for ventilated facades, pool edges, terraces, thresholds and windowsills exposed to the elements and frost.
