Lapidus Gold is a sumptuous and exuberant natural granite quarried in the renowned mining basins of Brazil (in the state of Espírito Santo). It is internationally celebrated for the extraordinary richness of its crystals and for a deep, vibrant mineral design of the highest decorative value.
Visually, it has a golden and warm background in shades of golden yellow, honey and amber, characterised by large and marked quartz and feldspar crystals in shades of brown, chocolate, iron grey and burgundy. The strong chromatic contrast and the broad texture of its components give the slabs a majestic, three-dimensional and scenographic appearance.
Geologically it is a high density silicate matrix metamorphic igneous rock (granite/pegmatite). It offers high surface hardness, extremely low porosity and is completely unassailable by food acids (such as lemon, vinegar and wine). It provides exceptional resistance to scratches, trampling abrasion, direct heat, frost and UV rays.
– countertops and vanity tops: their total acid-free properties and extraordinary heat resistance make them a flagship material for impact kitchen tops and bathroom countertops.
– interior flooring and cladding: ideal for scenic accent walls, luxury lobbies, continuous floors and fireplace surrounds.
– exterior architecture: used for ventilated facades, terraces and valuable walkways thanks to its total unalterability to atmospheric agents.
– custom elements: used for the construction of stairways, thresholds, sills and reception desks.
