The Millennium Dream VC (also known as the Millennium Dream Vein Cut) is a dramatic and distinctive selection of the famous golden granite quarried in India’s rich mining basins. The acronym “VC” indicates the cutting of the block in the direction of the grain (vein cut), a process that enhances its directionality and the linear movement of the mineral striations.
Visually, it has a sunny and enveloping background in shades of golden yellow, honey and cream, crossed by marked parallel veins and wave shades in shades of burgundy, terracotta, hazelnut and grey. The counterfidious cut enhances the fluid flow of the minerals, giving the slabs a dynamic, deep and highly decorative aesthetic.
Geologically it is a high density silicate matrix metamorphic igneous rock (granite/granulitite). It offers high surface hardness, very low porosity and is completely unassailable by food acids (such as lemon, vinegar and wine). It ensures extraordinary resistance to scratches, trampling abrasion, direct heat, frost and UV rays, maintaining the shine unchanged over time.
