Spectrolite - Black granite from Finland

Spectrolite – Black granite from Finland

Spectrolite is a natural stone of exceptional value, quarried exclusively in the thousand-year-old quarries of Finland. This stone is famous throughout the world for its unique and almost magical aesthetic, representing one of the most precious varieties of labradorite existing in nature. It features a deep, compact black background, a dark base that serves as a stage for extraordinary iridescent reflections ranging from electric blue to bright green, to intense golden hues.

This iridescence, technically known as “labradorescence” but which here reaches its maximum intensity by defining the variety as “spectrolite”, creates an iridescent effect that is dynamically activated with light, making each slab a scenographic and luxurious element of unparalleled beauty. Fascinating and precious, the Spectrolite combines the proverbial structural strength of granite with the luminous and mystical beauty of a gem, transforming floors, walls and furnishings into authentic natural works of art.
