Technical characteristics of Palissandro Bluette

From a technical perspective, Palissandro Bluette is a dolomitic marble characterised by a very compact crystalline structure and excellent mechanical properties. Compared to other traditional calcareous marbles, it offers slightly superior resistance to wear and flexural stress. Its texture lends itself superbly to a mirror polish, which enhances its crystalline brilliance, and to a ‘leather’ or brushed finish, which provides a pleasant tactile sensation. Although it is a robust material, it requires standard protective treatments against stains and acid attack to preserve its complex colour palette intact over time.
