Crema Bordeaux is a renowned and fascinating natural granite of Brazilian origin, quarried mainly in the state of Espírito Santo, Brazil. Widely appreciated in interior design and international architecture, this material stands out for its rich chromatic complexity and extraordinary structural strength.
Visually, it features a soft background in shades of beige, ivory and gold, dramatically crossed by dense veins and fluid stripes in shades of burgundy red, terracotta, salmon pink and brick, embellished with small crystals of grey quartz and dark muscovite/biotite. This combination creates a dynamic and pictorial pattern that makes each plate a unique work of art.
Geologically it is a siliceous intrusive magmatic rock (pegmatitic-migmatitic granite). As a predominantly siliceous material very rich in quartz and feldspars, it is completely acid-fast and does NOT react with food and chemical acids (such as lemon, vinegar, wine, or deep cleaning detergents). It guarantees exceptional mechanical performance: high resistance to abrasion, scratches, impact, heat and frost action. It has reduced porosity and does not suffer from chromatic alterations when exposed to UV rays.
– countertops and countertops: thanks to its absolute resistance to food acids, scratches and high temperatures, it is one of the most sought-after granites for islands, bar counters and fine kitchen tops.
– accent walls and bookmatch compositions: its characteristic veined movement makes it perfect for floor-to-ceiling mirrored installations in lounges, hotel lobbies and reception areas.
– high-traffic floors and exteriors: ideal for interior and exterior floors in residential and commercial areas related to heavy traffic, as well as for facade cladding.
– bathroom and vanity top rooms: used for high-impact and easy-to-maintain vanity tops, shower trays and vertical upholstery.
