The Golden Fantasy is a scenic natural granite quarried mainly in the renowned mining basins of Brazil (and in some variants of Indian origin). It owes its name to the dynamic and almost pictorial design of its veins, which create a fluid, warm and exotic movement on the slabs.
Visually, it has a luminous background ranging from golden yellow to beige and cream, crossed by an overwhelming interweaving of streaks, swirls and shades in shades of burnt brown, quartz grey, hazelnut and ochre, sometimes dotted with thin dark or reddish inclusions. The rough shape of its minerals gives the surfaces a marked scenographic impact and a marked three-dimensionality.
Geologically, it is an intrusive igneous rock with a granitic (quartz-feldspathic) composition, formed by the slow cooling of magmas at high depths. Its silicate matrix makes it chemically inert and completely unassailable by food acids (such as vinegar, lemon and wine). It boasts extremely low porosity, negligible water absorption and exceptional resistance to abrasion, scratches, heat, frost and UV rays, ensuring maximum durability both indoors and in severe outdoor applications.
– Kitchen tops and vanity tops: completely impervious to food acids and resistant to stains and scratches make it a top choice for operational kitchen counters and impact vanity tops.
– interior flooring and siding: perfect for continuous flooring in fine salons, hotel lobbies, and dramatic vertical walls.
– ventilated and external facades: excellent for covering external walls, porticoes, terraces, pool edges and walkways exposed to the elements.
– custom architectural elements: used for the shaping of monumental stairways, thresholds, windowsills, pallets and reception desks of great refinement.
