Golden Dune is a fascinating natural granite mined mainly in the renowned mining regions of Brazil. It owes its name to the dynamic and fluid design of its veins, which recall the soft and golden trend of sand dunes shaped by the wind.
Visually, it features a sunny, enveloping background that varies from golden yellow to creamy beige and amber, crossed by a sinuous movement of veins, streaks and shades in shades of burnt brown, hazelnut, quartz grey and ochre. The fluid flow of its minerals gives the slabs a strong scenographic impact, great three-dimensionality and profound naturalness.
Geologically, it is an intrusive igneous rock with a granitic (quartz-feldspathic) composition, formed by the slow cooling of magmas at high depths. Its silicate matrix makes it chemically inert and completely unassailable by food acids (such as lemon, vinegar and wine). It has very low porosity, very low water absorption and exceptional resistance to abrasion, scratches, heat, frost and UV rays, ensuring maximum durability both indoors and outdoors.
– kitchen tops and vanity tops: complete non-stickability from food acids and high resistance to stress make it an excellent choice for operational kitchen counters and dynamic vanity tops.
– interior flooring and cladding: ideal for continuous flooring in fine salons, hotel lobbies and dramatic vertical walls.
– ventilated and external facades: excellent for cladding external facades, porticoes, terraces, pool edges and floors subject to high traffic or severe weathering.
– custom architectural elements: used for shaping monumental staircases, thresholds, windowsills, pallets and reception desks with a great visual impact.
